It's supposed to snow 10 inches tonight and I am leaving for Charlotte, North Carolina in a few hours. I am kind of sad that I am going to miss it, but pretty excited about going to YS. I am doing power-point for Scott's talk and helping him out with a game. I love going to this conference for a number of reasons, you get a ton of free stuff, you get to meet up with youth pastors from all over the world, the main sessions are great, and the breakout sessions are too. I always leave YS, pumped up to get home and do ministry.
I am really interested in Shane Claiborne's breakout session this year. I read his book the Irresistible Revolution earlier this year and I want to hear what he has to say to youth pastors, regarding his philosophies on serving the poor and living simple.
Should be interesting.
