Okie Noodling

This post goes out to one of my favorite films. If you have never seen the documentary Okie Noodling, you need to. Noodling is a sport that is only legal in 3 states, Oklahoma being one of them. The sport involves going under water, sticking your hands into holes, and then pulling out monster catfish. The movie features several "hand fishermen" from Oklahoma who are very entertaining and very redneck. The soundtrack of the movie is done by the Flaming Lips who are also from Oklahoma. They do a great job of creating a perfect blend of phychadelic rock and country music. If you don't mind seeing shirtless rednecks roll around in muddy water with giant fish, then you will enjoy this movie.
