These last few weeks have been crazy busy with finals and work. Last week I worked over 40 hours and studied almost 30. I have to say that I am ready to do nothing for a while. I am planning on catching up on some good books and spending some more quality time with the family on my time off. I need to catch up on some blog reading too, I just realized.
The longer I stay in Chicago the more I miss my friends here over the breaks. I wish I could spend more time with the Elevate staff and my house group over the holidays.
Right now I am sitting in the library staring out the window, watching high school students pelt passing college students with snowballs. You would think the high school kids would be scared of the older college students, but given the neighborhood North Park is in, it's visa versa. Pretty amusing...

I'm jealous I was not watching the snowball thing. It's supposed to be icy tomorrow. Maybe when the kids are at school I will set up somewhere and watch people fall. Before I come to group, that is.
